The interface is confusing for a newbie. My objectives was to use the reminder to do a repeated 5hours, 2hours, 12hours etc reminder in order not to miss my mining apps that occur every 5hours and so on but I don't seem to know how to go about it. Again, I don't think one can be able to set different reminders at a go. I need a 24hrs repeat reminder for different hours . Please help me Edited

Sorry, but Repeat Reminder (RR) will not serve your purpose. In general, questions like yours should be asked through "Contact the Developer". The app, too, has a "?" icon that allows you to easily get in touch.

If I turn off the "Built in beep", "Do not disturb" mutes the App and at every start or restart I have to visit the settings and go back, to make sure that there is any sound at all. It also gets killed in less than 15 min., after turning off the screen unless I turn on "Bring to Front". For longer Intervals I have to make sure, that I don't turn off the screen before the 1st Interval has reached its last 14 min. . After the 1st sound with off screen the App runs all time in foreground mode. Edited

I appreciate your various comments, Mathias. You may actually be able to get the developer (i.e. me!) to tweak the app to suit your needs through a more direct communication (e.g. email
[email protected]). Cheers.

Kind of useless really. Needs to run in the background, otherwise the time is wrong. We need an app to be able to set repeating reminders / notifications that occur the same distance of time apart, but not at the same time each day, e.g. every 10 hours.

The latest update fixes this... but with a caveat: the display must remain on! So, you can switch to other apps as needed; just ensure the display never goes off. [that's when Android's battery management kicks in ... with unpredictable results]. A simple way to keep the display on is to ensure RR is in the foreground, or the charger is connected.

Has a lot of potential to be exactly what I need, but if you do not have the app on top (ie if you are using your phone for anything else at the same time) the timer does not keep real time. A 5-minute timer takes 10-15 minutes instead.

This app is exactly what I wanted. It's simple to use, too. I will set the interval at 10 sec. I will use it to audio sync two action cameras, which start a new file every 10 minutes. I will be fishing in a kayak. Now, if I can catch some fish.
