UPDATE: Same unanswered question from 2022. Emailed developer 2x. Is there a method to backup and restore the data? Have a new phone and would like to keep my setup. Just a couple of suggestions for enhanced usability - 1) Allow to browse and select for icon file type(s) when creating a "shortcut popup", 2) Ability to press + hold on defined shortcuts so they can be "moved" to another position and/or screen.

Hi, please note you can change icons by tapping and holding an existing shortcut. Then swipe to the left to change the icon or label. Thanks for the review.

Purchased this to replace the excellent, but now defunct iBolt Dock'n Drive app. Thus far, this app seems to be a reasonably worthy substitute, however, it does have drawbacks...more fiddly 2-step process to return to home screen from Google Maps navigation screen while driving, rather than being able to use home button of phone to return to Car Home Ultra home screen via single button push as with iBolt. Requires more time with eyes off the road while driving. Significant safety overlook IMO. Edited

I've been using this app "stand alone" for years and more recent in conjunction with Android Auto without any problems. Unfortunately after installing the latest version it stopped playing nice with AA, the speed indicator has stopped working and sits at 00. It still works stand alone, not connected to AA. Anyone else seen this happen, is there a tweak to get it working again?

I have used this app for several years and through several phones, but the lack of updates has limited its usefulness. The music app support is abysmal, especially since Google Play Music is dead. The link to maps/navigation is still good, and the speed information is helpful. Nice to be able to program the camera button on the home screen.

I had to uninstall and reinstall app, wipe cache, and then it started to not force close. Only bug, which is really annoying, left I came across is the volume of app/dashboard always lowers when I return to the home page of dashboard. Doesn't matter how I return to the app, it will lower the preset volume by about 1/4 from Max volume preset. Yes, I set volume to max in settings.
