This is a perfect use for an app! I had made an Excel spreadsheet to do my master numbers but it was cumbersome to have it on my computer. I think you need to check some of your calculations, though, I entered some of my standard gauges and had to tweak results that should have been pretty straightforward,. If the calculations are tuned up (don't factor in ease, we can do that ourselves if we feel the need - if I say my midfoot is 7 inches I have already factored in negative ease, I want the needed midfoot circumference to be 7 inches times stitch gauge) this will be a killer for anybody who knits according to the formulas in this book. Update, thanks for your note - I do know what you mean, and in creating for myself the numbers I already have that work, I took that into account. So maybe in a future update you could have a check box to let us choose whether you do that ease for us or we do it ourselves. I want to have my good existing numbers in there as well as have the ability to calculate new ones in the future.

Thanks for responding! Please note the app exactly matches Cat's system from her book New Pathways for Socknitters. On pg. 110 of your copy, "...A good general rule is to subtract about 10% to make the fit work well. This has already been done for you in the Master Number charts."
