If you complete the puzzle but there is an error - usually due a typo - you get a message that the puzzle is not solved correctly. That is fine. However, that message counts as a "hint" and cost you an trophy icon. Very very frustrating when I complete the puzzle without hints and I get penalized anyway. The message that is isn't correct doesn't point out where the error is, so not a hint. *Update* I figured out what happens is that the cells to enter in letters is so close to the lightbulb it is very easy to accidently hit the lightbulb hint. Frustrating but not a huge problem since you don't unlock anything or gain any benefit by not taking hints. Edited

Edit: Bug was fixed very quickly and my purchases were still there. This really is my favorite game and the publishers handle the problems well. I used to love this app, but I had to uninstall it because it stopped working. I'm really annoyed that I bought a pack of puzzles and won't get to play them because the app keeps crashing.

We've fixed the app in version 3.2.11, available now. Please update and you should be good to go, and any previous purchases will be restored. Sorry about the problem. Fortunately we were able to fix it within 24 hours.

I had problems with the app (it wouldn't open) I cleared the app cache & it started working again. I love these puzzles! I've been doing these for years & had to give them up after 2 surgeries on my right hand (I can't write very long anymore) Penny press is my favorite thank you! Now that I can get them on my phone I can finally do them again. The price for the volumes is very reasonable. (Almost half the cost when ordered by mail). I hope you keep them coming I do lots of them!

I am having a difficult time dealing with the dark mode. I am also not happy with how the unsolved puzzles displayed. I The icons are too big. In short, I am not happy with update. I have had the app for a long time and have enjoyed it, but the new display is making it cumbersome to use. Please give option to toggle white mode.

Well they updated the new version to allow you to get out of dark mode but not in any intuitive way. But I'll take it. But I had bought all Puzzle Baron acrostics up to number 38 and I can't see 22-38. I used to be able to see them in the previous major version. But they're gone. What did I spend my money for? Edited
