Thanks for that review! We do eliminate squares directly around the star, but we struggled (a lot!) over whether we should go further. Where does it end? Fill in stars where they're the only empty squares in a shape? We decided to err on the conservative side for now, but welcome a discussion! Email

Deceptive - harder than it looks! This is fantastic for kicking the brain cells into another gear! And it doesn't have ads or annoying stuff going on so you can really focus on just playing the game and testing your sense of logic. I've loved all of the Egghead games I've tried. The best part is if you get stuck and think the puzzle is just unworkable, you can email them to show where you're stuck and they will respond pretty quickly and help you past the sticking point! Love this!

This is similar to Sudoku but with colors and shapes instead of numbers. Free version only comes with 50 plays. After that you have to buy more plays or do a monthly subscription, which I feel is pricey for what the game is. I would consider it if it were a one time purchase, but not if I have to pay every 150 games.
