I love that this has SO MANY "escape" rooms. They are great on their own, but the fact that they tie together is really cool. I recommend going in order instead of choosing random ones like me. Both fun and challenging! I also love that there are hints, but they aren't 100% instructions, they're hints that you have to figure out.

Fun, but the hints drive me mad. For starters, I thought it worthwhile to pay $2.99 to stop the 60 second ads for hints, but the hints aren't even helpful! They tell me to do things I've already done, which is plain confusing and they don't even help me figure out how to solve the areas I'm stuck in because they simply highlight the areas. There's no words, no instructions, nothing. I get some people like this, but I'm stuck! Now what?? Urgh!

This was a lot of fun, if kinda gruesome at times. I wasn't a huge fan of having to do things like kill the parrot, or having animals randomly show up dead. And the hint system often isn't much use, especially in the earlier cubes, I frequently had to consult a guide because I was completely stuck. The hints also don't save if you exit the game. But overall it was one of the best horror/escape room games I've played.

WOW. Wow wow wow. I'm in the last stage of this game and I cannot recommend it enough. I went in expecting simple logic puzzles with maybe a small story but CEC is so much more than that. It has a surreal method of storytelling with some minor horror elements that fans of games like Inscryption, Amnesia, Little Nightmares, etc would appreciate. Attention to detail is a must and the game lets you go mostly at your own pace with the exception of one timed level. 100% worth the buy! Edited

Wow, that was the best game I've ever played on a phone. Incredible story line, challenging mini games, beautiful music, and amazing imagery. The kind of escape room you want to escape into. The games were difficult at times, in the best way, and utilized some real world abilities and skills, so I feel smarter after playing. And no ads or suggestions to buy anything!
