It isn't how the marketing makes it seem - it's a PvP game. There needs to be way more help available to figure out all of the areas of the game, as tutorials are lacking. The stories are fun and the art is cute. They have a real tendency to cram too many events in at the same time. Glitches are common. Expect to join multiple Discord servers in order to get all the help you need. But I've met some great people here and the game is still fun after months of playing regularly.

It's not a cheap game, but the writing is amazing!! I'm another vote for "Couldn't there be a non-PvP Realm?", but the resource mechanics are very nicely dovetailed to keep my attention. The contests and leaderboards are a great way to compete without having to attack other players. And the variety of characters to collect is vast!

Love the art style. The interface takes getting used to, and I had to ask for help (and even hand over my phone) to find which heroes were options to unlock as my first ally in the tutorial because I could not find which allies were available (there are so many different ingame currencies and tokens for various purchases) which ground my progress to a halt for a half hour. Once past that roadblock I was having fun again.

Could be a great game if limitations were put in place. I'm having difficulty upgrading because I get hit 4 times in a row by someone 10x or more my power. Then there goes all my resources collected from the past 2 days. Unless your willing to spend money, you come to a standstill and will not be able to upgrade. Honestly disappointed, the game seems fun otherwise.

Hi there, thank you for your review! Witch Arcana is inherently a PvP game. That said, there are numerous ways to protect yourselves: ex. building your infirmary and gate, strengthening your marches, shields, etc. The point system for Battle Royale also incentivizes players to attack within their general rank, or else no points will be garnered!

It is relatively fun if you have more experienced people in your club. If you get a club with a leader that is not around, you may not get anywhere or understand what you need to do. Research trees are very extensive and critical to success in the game. How things work in the game could use a better tutorial explaining the importance of the different research items. Very much a fumble around until you find help somehow. Edited
