Good game play and graphics but it is way to expensive to upgrade and you have to upgrade many time in many different ways to even see a difference. It takes an extremely long time (MONTHS) to upgrade if you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars to be competitive. Seems like it was created only as a money suck. For example: the point I'm at it will take 22500 diamonds to upgrade 1 point (500 available). The most you can win in the extremely hard mode is 100 diamonds and this is for 1 upgrade

This is a really solid game. The premium mode is worth the money, and I like the fact that a number of planes have auto-targeting as this places greater emphasis on positioning. The problem is in the unlock system. You collect "pieces" or "shards" of new ships... And then, even after you have all of them, you STILL have to pay money or premium currency to unlock them. It's not a free-to-play game in any way, and that knocked a couple points off my rating. Edited

Good game but way too many pop ups trying to sell you in game items for ridiculous prices. Beat a level and collected a star? "Are you sure you want to miss this deal for $10?" Skip and hit back "buy this ship for $50!", go to another screen "list of items on sale!" Every so often it asks you to rate the game and if you enter an unfavorable star rating, it just says thank you and fires back to the game and it asks you again a few days later and just repeats. Really fun! Too many requests for money and ratings even on premium - but the art is slick and gameplay is entertaining. Update: After playing for a few weeks, I have to drop from 4 to 2 stars. The monetization is downright deceptive. You can spend twenty times for gold in one screen that you would pay on another, and the popups are constant. And this is on premium. Edited

updated review: The game no longer connects to google play games so all my info is lost :(. 1☆ -- Fun game, especially if you get premium for free. The concept is old and tried, but the twist I like here is that you get 2 ships in a mission and can switch between them. That gives you some element of strategy and diversity in play style. Gotta knock a star off for the constant in your face "buy stuff for money" ads. It's too much and too often. But that aside It's a fun game to kill time. Edited
