The Free version is sh*thouse. Plays one song per category, forces you to listen to 30 seconds of that song (when 5 would be plenty) after you guess, then you can't guess any more songs in the category! Then I was stuck - couldn't close the app as I couldn't get out! Had to turn the phone off. Disgusting. Solution: Charge a subscription so it be can played properly, and you can pay the programmers enough to put an 'X' in the top right corner to kill the app when the player is sick of it. Edited

Hi Johnr! You do not need to listen to the song for 30sec after you guess, you can exit to the menu immediately with the back arrow in the top left. Exiting the app would be the same as exiting any other app on your device. We have a subscription that allows you to play any playlist as much as you want, but this is completely optional!

Seen so much trash on the app store recently this is like a breath of fresh air.. Well made, very clean and intuitive, zero obnoxious ads and had me hooked straight away. Spotify integration works really well, and being able to use my own playlists is great. Kudos to the Devs 👏

Great game for testing music knowledge from different decades. Love that it's not just intro's of songs but any random section, really confuses the brain. Great idea to be able to add your own choices or artist, genres or even your own playlists. Excellent game.

Not enough notes! 😤 there aren't enough notes to play with, and once you choose a playlist, you don't get it back! There was a playlist that I didn't mean to choose, and I was on my last note! Reply: Honestly, I would rather have the ads than have fewer notes... Edited

Hi Rand0m_R0B98, thank you for your feedback! For now we want to give an ad-free experience to our players and we have therefore opted to allow players to purchase more notes/unlimited notes. I can understand that it can be frustrating when you select the wrong playlist, we are looking into a solution that should help with this!

Something is clearly wrong. Gloria by Laura Branigan in 60's (released early 80s), and Ecuador by Sash in 80's (released late 90's). Nice idea but something is wrong. Have screenshots if required, as can't find another way to feedback to developer. Update: that makes more sense! Apologies. 5 stars all the way. This is what Heardle should have been 👌 Edited

Hi Simon, thanks for your feedback! The playlists on the home screen are "born in the *year*" so it's meant to be music suitable for people born in that decade. The playlists created by Spotify, who populate them with tracks. I can recommend searching for "all out 80s"/"all out 2010s" if you want to play music from a specific decade :)
