Very fun game. Works well if you like to play solo or as part of an alliance. Most people are very friendly and willing to help you advance your progress. Zero need to pay for increasing your level or strength. Game pace is perfect (if you like slow steady grinding). Multiple different experiences to take part in, again, as solo or with groups. I've been playing for years. Highly recommend Hades Star if you like strategic space based games.

It's fun, I played a lot before all the current updates. A couple things I absolutely hate about it is the matchmaking for the Blue star PvP. I've seen higher end ships come in and decimate me and everyone else with minimal effort while my ship tries it's hardest and still dies. Also the fact I can't put more artifacts on a planet than there are slots like I used to be able to makes me limit my gameplay time on it. Oh and a final thing, I hate how long early mid tier level modifications upgrade. Edited

This game is all about grinding and is mostly a distribution center sim (how best to deliver products from one planet to another). Latest PvP changes heavily favor those with higher tech and the ranked matches have screwed up the match makers ability to pair you up with similarly leveled opponents.. And since the whole thing was designed to not reach end game for 2-ish years, you can never catch up and be competetive unless you were there from the beginning. The art is very well done.

This game has great potential. It has great graphics and strategic gameplay. But has a huge negative factor. The upgrades cost way too much for the in-game income ability. When a delivery nets you 60-150 credits but any minor ship or station upgrade costs 5k-10k or more (and that's just at beginner stages). Also, there's only a few deliveries available an hour. It brings the gameplay to a grinding halt. Changing this would take what is only potential and turn this into a fantastic game.

The game itself is very fun and the gameplay is very easy to learn. The depth of the graphics are pretty sweet as well. The downside is unless you're willing to spend large amounts of money or take a ridiculously long amount of time you never really going to go anywhere in this game. The increasing prices and costs of upgrades are so beyond Ludacris and Out Of Reach it's almost not worth playing sometimes..
