If you like playing the board game (particularly solo), then you will love this app ! They did a fantastic job with a digital implementation. The visuals and sound are both fantastic and add to the charm. I am having lots of fun playing through all of the different settlements. If you have never played the board game, I highly recommend doing so before purchasing this digital version or at least watch a video to learn to play. The app's tutorial can be a letdown when teaching new players. Edited

Being a paid app, there should absolutely never be locked content that is inaccessible because you have to literally perfect a round. If you were going to use something(crowns) to lock away layouts and settlements, we should at the least be able to earn one star for the completion of a settlement when score allows, or at most have the option to unlock all content in the settings menu. Having to perfect a round in order to advance in the game is ridiculous. I do not recommend this game. Edited

I love this interpretation of the roll and write game. I like the idea of advancement, but it's a little unclear how to get extra stars. I feel like I'm playing pretty well, but am still only getting one star in each level. The tutorial was also not that helpful. I learned more by just playing more. There are also a few typos, but that's just nitpicky. Overall, great effort!

Pretty luck dependant but fun game. It could have been better developed though. Tutorial is USELESS (check out "watch it played" on YouTube). Inspecting the map when selecting favor token shouldn't require you to hold your thumb pressed down. Should have a +counter next to resources based on buildings you've unlocked so you know what you're getting with the new round. Unlocking maps feels a bit too grindy for a paid game. Sfx/music/animations are okay. Good game overall. Try to snag it on sale.

Cannot figure out how to get past Barbarians #3. About 20% into the game and I cannot unlock any more levels. Tried replaying a bunch to get higher score. I just can't figure out what needs to happen. It's a shame because I was playing a lot until I got this wall and now NEVER play it. Was going to buy physical game but this experience really turned me off to the entire thing.
