This game has great story and roleplaying elements. Gameplay, on the other hand, is sparse and was frustrating at one point. Silverslope was almost impossible for me. I had a spearman unit, but no option to field him. The game selected a light infantry, heavy infantry, and horse archer each time, putting me in a 3v3 with 3 hits to kill an enemy troop, but only 1 hit to kill mine. I managed to pull through after 20 tries. I almost feel like I missed something. Is there really no troop select????

Well designed storyline that branches out many times... I spent hours playing and replaying to try and get all the achievements and explore all the options... The game can be completed in well under an hour in one run through, but the real experience comes with learning the complete world. Very well made storyline, and one of the best turn based games I've ever played!

Amazing Story to follow. A Decision based Game + A Turn Based Battle, Great Combo to be honest. I like it all and would only take you a couple of hours of gameplay or even less. Hahaha I even got caught for the first time playing it and - THE END - well Im at fault there to get caught by the chasers even so I still played it nonetheless to exp the full story. There's a lot of choices to go with and have diff. outcomes so u can play it over and over again. I only have one thing to say - Amazing -

While the story is engaging and well written, with nice background visuals and smooth play, it's frustrating that once you reach an end you need to start over entirely. Unfortunately after a few plays of having to keep reviewing the same past storyline it became a nuisance and redundant so I stopped...

Hi, Ben, and thank you for your review! Have you tried the checkpoint system? When you reach an end you can rewind to a certain point you've unlocked in the story, not from the very beginning. The checkpoints are available via the chest icon at the top of the screen UI.

Great game with an interesting story. A bit short though. The story purrin play similar like a choose your own adventure / visual novel, but doesn’t make up for how short it is. Gameplay is typical turn based tactical, although sometimes it is a hassle to move units. Love the art style and soundtrack.
