I played the original version of Moria back on my 1992 Macintosh PC and loved it. I was super excited to try it on Android. Controls work well, but I had to look up the guide on how everything works. I am playing a mage in my first playthrough, and it's been a good challenge. A few critiques would be: Replicating monsters are a bit overboard. I think replication mechanics are a bit too punishing Inventory space increase would be welcome Add shutting doors without having to jam them?

The game was working fine on my last phone. I tried creating a new character on my new phone, and the app crashes.

100% reproducible issue in the recent patch. Fixed for all users on version v421. Thank you for the report!

A great, intuitive revamp of a classic roguelike. My latest obsession. Just a few quick comments, I wish the guide was more accessible, particularly in game, but the overhaul of the UI and implementation of stylistic tiles makes any critique fall flat. Quick question for the dev, which version of Moria/Umoria serves as the base for this?

The code is a line-by-line rewrite from UMoria 5.5.2 (1994). All source code is available to the public: https://rufe.org/moria/
The monster table is preserved unchanged.
The item table has some minor adjustments; mostly to drop chances. Trash items were a nuisance on mobile.

If you love 1980s roguelikes, you're gonna want to play this. It is Moria but is actually playable on a touchscreen without the need for a virtual keyboard.

It's like taking one of those TV remotes from the 1980s and simplifying it down to the essentials. :)
