First off, I've been using the Listen Audiobook Player for years and I love it. Best player out there and I've tried them all. Great job! Now for some suggestions on the few minor things that frustrate me :) 1. Please provide more flexibility in the library list view. Audiobooks can have tags that are needed to easily find the books in large libraries. I would like to be able to a) reduce/change the font size in the list, b) add certain tags to the list view (series, author/artist).

Wonderful app. If you JUST need an audiobook player that isn't tied to a specific ecosystem like Audible or Google (annoyingly hard to find), this is well worth the asking price. Im so glad I took the plunge on this Edit: went back to audible for a book, and I sorely missed this app. Def my go to audiobook app from now on. Ive listened to 3 different books, and a couple of podcasts on here. All I gotta do is move the files to my phone and im golden. Edited

I've used Listen for years. It only gets better. I especially love the sleep timer and being able to nudge my phone to refresh the timer. Other apps I've tried require looking at the screen, pressing the timer to restart, sort of defeats the purpose. My newest wish for the app is to have a setting to close the app (not just pause) when headphones/BT are disconnected.

Hi, there is an option to automatically exit after being paused a configurable amount of time that might work for your needs. It's under Automatic Behaviors | Exit After Pause.

Stay awake feature must be constantly re-enabled. You can tell the app to make the phone stay awake so the screen doesn't turn off, but that only lasts until you close or minimize the app. If you switch over to another app while listening, then switch back, it has to be turned back on. The fact that I can't be left on permanently is incredibly frustrating.

Sorry you are frustrated by this behavior. Since the keep awake feature can be a significant battery drain, it is disabled whenever the you leave the app or turn off the screen in order to prevent it being unintentionally left on. What I will do is add the ability to assign it as a gesture action to turn it back on. Email me to join the beta.

I like the app but i got it because of the advertised sync options. I have been unable to get sync to work. I have sync turned on linked to the same google account on both devices. The same audiobook downloaded onto both devices, with the same folder structure. please help me and i'll change to 5 star updated I had a case problem with my directory and sync is working Edited

Email me and I can help directly. In the meantime you can check that the current book path matches on each device in Settings | Sync. This path must match exactly and is case sensitive.
