I do not like the new app at all! I have been a subscriber of The Star-Ledger for decades, the old app was fine they should have left it alone. The new app goes into landscape mode on me for no reason, makes reading difficult on my phone, plus I don't like how they eliminated on the top of the screen the tabs where you can easily go to the different sections of the newspaper, and specially on Sunday, like going from the opinion section, to the sports section to the update section. Bad job! Edited

it's a well-known thing for way to look a good stories ahead that all readers are fascinated with triumph and prosperity.

Reading the Star Ledger on the app is a terrible experience. If there is no print edition (which I really miss), then format it like a website. I will likely cancel my subscription if it doesn't improve.

the shrunken page image gets in the way when viewing the comics in landscape mode on a phone. they are too small to read in portrait mode.

The Ledger is going a nice job with the app/web based version. Though I'm still sad about losing the print version. Sign of the times.
