Long time digital subscriber, and usually happy with the app - til now. Latest update made the homepage "Today" news section take 30 seconds to a solid minute to load/refresh, and since much of the time I'm in a hurry and just trying to catch latest headlines this is very annoying. The absolute slowest news app I use, which shouldn't be the case with a paying digital subscription.

I once subscribed to the Washington Post after them constantly begging for a subscription and only allowing me to read partial articles. Then they basically made it impossible for me to read them anyway. This app isn't that. Super easy to use. I've had it a week and I love it. You choose what interests you, they give you the headlines on your phone, you simply tap the headline, it takes you to a page where there's more in-depth headlines, another tap, and you're reading a well-written article.

Almost unusable with the Pop Up Ads. There seems to be an onslaught of McDonald's Pop ads lately. They appear every 30 seconds to 1 minute. The ads are full page and interrupt whatever you may be reading. In order to close the ad, you have to click on a tiny X in the top corner. It is almost impossible to hit the X and you wind up opening the McDonald's site. I have tried everything I know to do, clearing cache, deleting browsing data, even removing and reinstalling the app. Nothing helps.

Long time reader; new app user. So many books are mentioned in your articles. I used to write them down, but as an app, it would be so cool to be able to click on the book title in the article, and add it to a separate reading list in the app. Seems like a fun project for the devs, and would definitely set this app apart from the rest.

I keep trying the app every year or so. It's just not as good as a browser. Scrolling is still glitchy. Getting back to the home page is sometimes multiple clicks. There are sections that are missing (eg, in the browser I can go to Sports, then go to "Tennis", or in the Well section I can go to "Mind" or "Family"). I'll stick with chrome for now. Edited
