This is a good app to help parents with phonogram sounds. It is very basic and not really engaging for kids but is excellent for letter sounds if you need extra help teaching the kid all the sounds. It is missing some of the phonograms but still a good app. This would pair well with a homework assignment, or flash card practice, test preparation for letter sounds. Has long vowel and short vowel as well as some blends. Edited

This is such a great app in that it has all the phonograms needed for teaching. As an "English as a second language" person, this is incredibly helpful when I don't know all the different sounds myself. I am even finding out where my accent comes from! Haha! So it even helps me speak more clearly. Wonderful, more than one use app!

It is ok, only wish that there were capital letters to go along with the books for pre-reading. My daughter loves listening to the letters as we turn the pages but get confused between because the capital letter are what is in the books but only lower case letters on the app. Needs improvement but can slowly get the job done. Reply to comment- those are also lowercase. Edited

Thanks, I shared your suggestion! The Letter Sounds A to Z app has just first sounds and matches the lowercase letters/sounds taught in the last section of Pre-reading. https://www.allaboutlearningpress.com/letter-sounds-app/. See our free activities for working on capital letters: https://blog.allaboutlearningpress.com/letter-knowledge. ~Merry :-)

It has potential. Needs a lot of improvement. It should provide the option to use UK English. It could do with some variety as it is very limited. The user interface is pretty small, which only demonstrates how restricted the app is.

Thanks for your suggestions! The app is used in conjunction with our All About Reading and All About Spelling programs, and is an easy way for students to review the sounds. For a moveable tiles app with more options, check out our Letter Tiles App: https://www.allaboutlearningpress.com/letter-tiles-app/

Pretty good for my 5yr old who is currently learning this for school. My 3yr old on the other hand i want to teach this too and he keeps looking at the other categories beneath. If only i can lock out the rest of the categories so he can focus on the alphabet first, then the next. I wonder if there is a game?
