I love this app especially on the iPad. However a lot of our work is now done on the chromebook so I figured I would buy the app again to use especially since we can use the chrome book as a touch pad. However clearing the board is super hard and just being able to drag and drop the tiles seems to glitch a lot. I really hope that you guys can get it compatible with the chromebook soon because it would make life so much easier.

Hi Nichole, I'm sorry about that! We do not officially support Chromebook devices and have no plans to at this time. If you would like a refund and are beyond the 48 hours that Google Play allows, please email me at
[email protected]. I'd be happy to help with a refund! ~Merry :-)

It works just like the whiteboard, but you don't have to worry about losing tiles and you can take it in the car, etc. I admit I was expecting it to have more features, like audibly telling the student what word to spell based on the lesson he was at, and then telling him if it was correct or not, but maybe that will come in a future version. Worth the $20.

Thanks for your comments! We don't have plans to add that feature but I'll pass on your interest. An important part of learning is making mistakes, and the teacher will still need to analyze why the mistakes are being made. A program that shows the answer wouldn’t help the student know the underlying reasons why the misspelling wasn’t correct.

Updating to say I use this app almost every day with my kids and I took all the tiles off the white board and use this exclusively now. I can divide words into syllables now. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but overall the app is much less hassle than the real tiles. I can't divide the syllables on my 7" screen. :( Will this be fixed?

Nice app few issues. The volume is stuck on high. If I mute or turn the volume all the way down, the sound still come out at full volume. We are using it on galaxy tablets. It has this volume issue on both my kids tablets. Navigation is also a bit awkward sometimesas well.

Thanks for your review, Brandy! The app is designed for tablets, so that may be why you are having some issues. If you have an Android tablet, try it on there instead. Here are navigation tips: https://blog.allaboutlearningpress.com/letter-tiles-app-tips/ You can also contact me with questions:

Absolutely does not work well. A total waste of money. Some tiles are off screen and inaccessible. The whole thing is too small to see well. Tiles are not easily moved around in the workspace.

Hi Brandi, Sorry, the app is designed for tablets, not phones. If you are within the first 48 hours of purchasing the app, you can get a refund through Google Play. If it's been more than 48 hours, email me at
[email protected] with your GPA number, and we'll put this through for a refund. Thanks! ~Merry :-)
