Just what I wanted… Almost! Within just 6 minutes, I was sold and upgraded to the Pro version. I love how I can listen to Spotify or YouTube on my Bluetooth headphones in the background while using the app, and it doesn’t mess with them or pickup their audio. One small request though: it would be AMAZING if the Pro version could include an option to set a key and scale, and maybe have the notes turn green when they land on the scale. That would take this app to the next level!

Thank you for your feedback! Scale highlighting is something we plan to add in future updates. Please stay tuned!

I guess it does tell you what note you sang. But you can't actually scroll back to view the note you sang unless you pay for pro. It also doesn't have a discernable way to "go back" a step or start over unless you close it out all together. So if a sound accidentally gets registered, you can't really remove it so it might get confusing which note is the note you actually sang and which is the random person who yelled outside. Edited

Hi N, if you are in a noisy environment, you can try turning up the "Noise Gate Threshold" and move the phone closer to you. Regarding the Pro Version, the support from our Pro Version users is what has kept this app alive and continuously improving. Without them, Nail the Pitch would not exist. Hope this helps and we appreciate your understanding!

Doesn't work well at the low end. I can hold C2 to B1. But if I drop lower, then it jumps up two octives. Perhaps it is the limitation of my phone mic. I tried headsets, too. Has anyone had any luck? I just wanted to see how low I could go LOL. Pretty cool app, though. And it may just be a hardware limitation. If so, then I will change my stars. Edit: thanks to the developer for the explanation on it being a hardware limitation. Updating to five stars :) Edited

Hi Junior, this is indeed a hardware limitation. C2 is around the lowest range supported by most smartphones currently available on the market. When you drop below C2 the app can't see the fundamental in the input signal, and it will lock onto the upper partials instead, hence the octave jump. Hope this helps.

I use it for tuning, it's cool to see the octave number, and what the sound wave is doing, Especially..after..hitting a note on a string. Sometimes it holds true, others times the note is sharp initially, then goes true. I adjust according to how hard/loud I plan on strumming. It's accurate enough forbmy needs, and my expectations for a phone mic.

I love the app! Helps a lot to see the notes visualized on a piano roll. I use when practising to sing and tuning my voice. Minus one star, because sometimes the app won't pick sounds. Especially low sounds below C2 for me won't get recognised well. Would be great to be able to play the piano roll too, clicking the note and it would play a tone.
