Now that I only subscribe to the E-edition, I rely on the app for my reading. Pinch and zoom and scroll on Android devices works very poorly. Same story on 3 of my Android devices, so it's not a device issue. Hard to read the paper on a small screen if you can't zoom in. Love the news, not so much the app.

This might as well be a paid download. Anything you might want to see is blocked until a paid subscription is made. I wouldn't know if the app worked or not because I'm not willing to pay to find out!

the ap used to be really good. now it closes and reloads every 10 seconds. not worth the headache anymore

The updated app seems to have much less local news and has a poor lay out.
