In the middle of the night, I randomly get a call from my service provider that my phone is using extreme amounts of data. I check, and for no apparent reason, BitTorrent has been using 200 GB of data in less than an hour. I hadn't used the app in days, every torrent in it was paused, and there's seemingly no reason for this to have happened. This is worrisome, as it seems this could be a backdoor into my phone, being used for mining, or some other nefarious purposes. User Beware

Great app. There is definitely some features missing from the desktop client, which is to be expected from any mobile app. The UI is a bit different but it gets the job done. Works great. Only thing I could really dock points for is the ads; which again, are part of any well oiled mobile app to get the devs paid well. Thanks to bittorrent on behalf of all archivists, we couldn't do it without you.

I understand an app needing to have ads to support itself and the staff who develops it. However, BitTorrent introduced ads that are extremely intrusive and interfere with my use of the app. No, I will not reward you by getting the "pro" version to get rid of ads. I will be finding an alternative with less intrusive ads and uninstalling BitTorrent. Such a shame too, since I've been using this app for years. Thanks, but no thanks.

⚠️ WARNING!!! DO NOT UPDATE!!! I JUST decided today to finally update, after resisting well over a year(app worked beautifully the ENTIRE TIME;)AND whaddya know??? It has literally completely stopped working. It either won't download at all, or the newest bug, a download I managed to finally get going, stopped at 30%, so I paused it to restart tablet. When I went back to resume dl on a different wifi, THE PAUSE IS FROZEN!!!! Pressing "resume all" or the play icon does NOTHING!!!!! IM SO 😡😡😡😡

Every time there's an update this app gets worse. Intrusive ads make it unusable now. When scrolling down through torrents it occasionally asks if you want to delete one, you hit cancel and it deletes it anyway. I'm back here looking for another update because it wouldn't download at all. Restarted phone and now downloads are stuck at under 1 kbs, and no progress is being made at all no matter how long I let the download go. The new controls are terrible, and not well suited for touch screen. Edited
