Have loved this app for a long time but, most recently, the ads have become so intrusive that they're impossible to exit out of even once the video portion has finished playing. You basically get stuck in a loop and must kill the app and reopen it. Very annoying and makes me wanna use alternative apps.

Install it, go to settings, change download folder ... wait, you can't. You can't browse for the folder you use for the files you need here. When the first thing I try doesn't work the whole program seems pointless. And with ads in my face I expect something better than what feels like a tiny open source project. It can download files, but nothing else.

I give this app 4 STARS. NOT BECAUSE it's the most efficient or because the ads aren't annoying and/or intrusive. I bid this app above average because it's been around for a while and because it connects well with my torrent downloader as well as my content player (VLC) installed. What I mean to say is that I don't have to stop - open another app - choose from library - etc. uTorrent works seamlessly for me across 3 platforms and I appreciate that. Thank you uTorrent. Pro:it works and it's free Cons: the ads are grossly intrusive. Banner ads will start with sound, full screen ads with required interactions, and then it requests location permissions to "serve better ads". Yeah, no thanks Overall, if you have a few things to torrent, use then uninstall. If you want a long term client, either pay for ad free or find a different free product that's less invasive.
