Meh. Content is good, but the app for the Samsung TV is glitched. And there's no auto play feature for the phone app. So you have to go in and hit play for the next episode manually every time, which is a pain. It doesn't have a skip recap or intro option, which most apps do now. It also doesn't remember your subtitle preferences, so you have to turn those back on for every episode. All in all, the content is good, but the app itself seems way out of date. They have some catching up to do. Edited

good shows with poor closed captioning. For example, Episode 7, season 1 of Sister Boniface has over 10 mistakes including "Wayne's" when it should be "weigh in." All episodes so far have issues, but this one is the worst. They are totally changing the meaning of some of the Material which may be confusing to the deaf or hard of hearing. So this rating is based on accessibility. Please do better.

update, 7/2025 I'm still being charged, when I tried to chance it. I repeatedly went over and over using their directions they do not answer even after I go through ALL thru all of themUPDATE: For months this BROKEN APP has been charging me full price while it is not possible to watch more than twenty minutes!?? I have been double charged for months, and tried to solve this all along giving 5 stars, but things have become progressively worse this year. Now suddenly this app is sucking Edited

UPDATE: Even though the app wouldn't work with Chromecast, I now have BritBox through Roku/got their hardware. I had to buy another device, but it works. I downloaded the app and started casting from my Android phone to my Chromecast, and it works great except for stopping after each episode. I need it to keep playing without intervention--at least a few episodes--like every other app does. This is unfortunately a deal breaker. Please fix! Cancelled plan trial & uninstalled. Edited

This is the worst streaming app I've ever used accessibility wise. It's difficult to navigate and there's no autoplay. If you enable captions, it will forget next time you play something and you have to enable it again, every time. All of this is a terrible shame because the content is fantastic and the price is good. I just wish the app had the same quality of life features that the others do. Edited
