Makes it very convenient to have a pipefitter calculator on the phone. Especially when you are in the field taking measurements. You might forget your actual calculator, but usually have your phone on you. I had trouble finding my older purchase and customer service was extremely helpful to get me back going. Great company. When I got a new phone it did not automatically transfer that I had bought the app when it was a one time charge. After talking with a very helpful rep, I was able to recover it on my new phone. It's a great app and very useful. However, I am only leaving a 3 star review because of the recurring charges you will have to pay to use this app now. That I do not agree with. Bring back the one time purchase. Edited

Every year we bought the apprentices the app for their android phones... not anymore. It was easy and affordable at $25 one-time fee for life. I still use mine, alot. Great app. But, changing the business model has changed our policy. We cannot afford $40 yearly subscription per student. I cannot recommend this app UNTIL this changes. $40 one-time fee wouldd even be acceptable.

I bought this app many years ago. It's served me well. Having said that, this move to a subscription service makes no sense. $25 old way lifetime. $40 a year seems a bit of a money grab. Why not just charge $25 per device for multiple devices? When I can buy the full calculator for under $63 through HD, this change seems excessive. Please reconsider the pricing model.

It's a calculator. Why I would have to subscribe to use a calculator is absolutely absurd. I already have the physical calculator but I had the app in case I left it somewhere and needed it without having waste time going to get it. There are no "new" features or additional material to add to a calculator man. These people have lost their minds. UNINSTALLED
