App works well enough for me; but I have two suggestions. 1) Give users the ability to create a backup of ALL CAR DATA they have entered manually--repairs, gas tracker, tire mileage, etc onto the phone's SIM card, internal memory, or a desktop or laptop computer. Having driven the same car for years, losing that data is very risky! 2) Add a way to switch from dark to light mode and vice versa (if that setting exists, I can't find it). Does dark mode use the phone's system settings? Thanks. Edited

Very helpful for keeping a record but for some reason isn't tracking my miles properly or calculated how many miles driven since last oil change. You have to manually enter your daily miles but when I do it doesn't properly update info. For example, it has been 3400 miles since last oil change and according to carfax app it only has been a little over 1000 miles lol! Aside from that loving it for the most part otherwise.

7/1/25 - Reinstalled and App is fixed again! Progress is happening! 👍 5/31/25 - App no longer works (Android). All the cars in My Garage are no longer there and I'm not able to add them back. Uninstalled/reinstalled did not fix. Contacted Support-they're aware of issues with no ETA for the fix. My workaround is to access Carfax Car Care account via: 1)online website, 2) Geico mobile app. Although both methods allow me to access My Garage, certain features like Fuel Tracker are missing. This used to be a great app. I had all my vehicles stored. And I loved that when I took it in for service it was automatically updated. Got a new (to me) car yesterday and tried to add it to my garage. Got a "Oops that didn't work", then a "Already associated with your account error". I tried clearing the cache but when I logged back in all my cars except one are gone. Still can't add the new car. I am very disappointed.

Updated Review 6.9.25: [2 stars] I have to remove stars now bc the app is no longer saving new info. (Thankfully I still see previous info.) But after several attempts of trying to input latest services, it wont save - its frustrating now. I used to love this app, but it seems the latest "bug fixes", came with new critters.☹️ For ref: Samsung S24 Ultra Previous Review 1.13.22: [5 stars] Carfax is helping me keep track of my auto maintenance and I love that.
