This is one of my most disappointing interactions with an app ever. Greed destroys everything it honestly makes me want to cry. This app was great when I used it with my first child and was free. Now they want $35 for a SINGLE TEST! I can't believe that an app that was developed with government money, that I paid taxes towards the development of could become such a scam! I will be expressing my disappointment to NSW health that this has happened. Shame, shame, shame on the developers!

The app was free with support from the Federal Dep of Health. This support ended June 2023. To ensure continuity of the service, that is now used nationwide, we moved to a paid model. Perhaps you could speak to your local member about future funding as we agree, Sound Scouts hearing screening should be free for all Australian school children.

Doesn't let me self test. It says there is an option to , but always asks for another adult to set up the device. This is unhelpful. I know calibration is important, but not allowing you to skip is frustrating. If you can self test and skip the set up, please show me (with screenshots) how to do this and put it on your website. The instructions are useless too. Don't actually go into the things you're supposed to do in the test or how to set it up. Don't give me a generic reply saying email you Edited

Downloaded the app 1 day ago. Me son has tried to complete the trial several times but it continually crashes. I have sent an email in regards to this but nobody has gotten back to me. It seems like it could be a great app but you need to be able to at least finish the initial test.

great app for testing little kids, just had a little trouble effectively hitting/ dragging the buttons at the edge of the phone screen which may have affected the results, I think due to curved screen of device rather than app but needs to be considered

Default volume is way too loud to undergo any test successfully. Instructions are not given regarding the ideal volume level for my device. I have to keep increasing and decreasing the volume. Edited
