I loved the lite version, and though I haven't noticed any additional features with this one, it seems to at least have all the features of the lite version. So it at least has that, even though I so far have yet to see how it was worth spending money on. I really only have one real issue I have with it is a pretty big one. I upgraded to the pay version, and all of my entries are gone. I entered it after upgrading, and it has the tutorial screen, then it tells me to make my first entry. I paid money to lose all of my entries? If there is some way to get them back, PLEASE let me know. It would also be useful to know this before paying the money to upgrade. Edited

We're glad you found the app useful. The primary difference in the Pro version is that you aren't limited to viewing only the last 10 entries, which is the limitation in Lite. We'll help you get your records back! Email us at

This is the best pain record app. I've never paid for an app before but loved the free version so much I decided to get the full app. The customizable fields and entries are easy to change, I love being reminded when I want to be reminded to enter my stats. The charts and reports are greatly beneficial for my myself and my doctors. I suggested this app at my pain clinic classes. Edited

Generally very helpful app, decent tech support as well. A bit glitchier since last update -- automatic reminder function no longer works on my phone and the interface is a little less user-friendly in my opinion. Wanted: - ability to "hide" medications so I don't have to scroll through all my old ones every day, but they remain in previous records - ability to add custom sliders in addition to custom list items - stop asking if I want to save changes when I didn't make any change - confusing Edited

Thank you for your kind feedback. You can definitely "hide" the medications by clicking "Edit List" in the medications section and then entering an "End Date" - this turns them into "old" medications and hides them from the list.
The reminders not working is the first we've heard - please email us at

I highly recommend Manage My Pain! I have tried many pain recording apps; this is the only I have kept. I got it in January 2017, upgraded to Pro in March 2017 and have used it continuously since. It is convenient, easy to use, intuitive, informative and useful. It allows you to record the pain level, where you hurt, the characteristics of the pain (dull, aching, burning, throbbing, etc.), what made you hurt worse, what helped and what didn't help with quick and easy check boxes. Excellent!!

We are very happy that MMP has been part of your regular pain management regimen. It's intended to help not only yourself better understand your body, but also your care-team, who should hopefully help get to the right treatment faster. Stay tuned for our big re-design coming soon!

This is the 1st app I have chosen to review. I really like all of the features it has, and I decided to upgrade to pro to add my own categories. In using this app, I discovered my best days were when the weather was high pressure and low dew point, because I could graph backwards and see when my pain levels and functioning were at their lowest and highest, respectively, and then look at past weather reports to uncover these trends. I assume I'll be able to discover other aspects as well. Edited
