Excellent fun. Only thing to watch out for is that if your device has swipe from edge to go back, it's very easy to accidentally exit a puzzle when filling in a set of boxes near the edges of the puzzle. You can return to the puzzle easily without loosing progress, but it's somewhat annoying. Cursor mode (accessible in the settings) fixes this, but feels a little clunkier. Edited

Look. I'm no slouch when it comes to puzzle apps. And while it was 1990s windows PC, I pretty well remember minesweeper. In this app, I'm on the very very first intro puzzles. I made it thru the first 2, frustrated with the third. When your guessing 1 or 2 spots, then go chk em. Guess. check. And I go on like this, and I'm right maybe 20%. And I've got maybe a quarter of the board filled, and I look. And nothing? And I'm on THE 3RD EASIEST PUZZLE? Nope. Too hard. Uninstalled

Thank you for your feedback, though it seems you are missing one of the rules. Although these puzzles are based on Minesweeper there are some differences. Perhaps this video will help you: https://www.conceptispuzzles.com/index.aspx?uri=puzzle/fill-a-pix/tutorial

an interesting premise but in the very first pack I encountered a puzzle that was solvable in a way that was no accepted. As in, the puzzle had multiple solutions with only one being arbitrarily chosen as correct. how that got through testing is beyond me. I wasn't even 10 puzzles in. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be on a larger grid.

There are no errors in the puzzles. However, the complaint you describe is common and is usually because you are only seeing part of the grid. You need to zoom-out or move the grid. Please send us a screenshot of the said puzzle to
[email protected] and we will help you with finding what went wrong

Great Puzzle Game! It's a more in depth and interesting version of classic minesweeper. The only problem I have is that the back button and cursor mode changer are at the top of the screen. I switch between modes often and it's kinda annoying to reach to the top of the screen every time for that. Other than that, I have continued to enjoy the logical pathways that I have to navigate to complete each puzzle.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestion, which we will consider when we have our next app review.

There are a couple of features it would be nice to see (mostly dark mode and a tutorial for advanced puzzles), but it's a good, *fun* puzzle game. I've also never seen this "minesweeper nonogram" style of puzzle before, which makes it unique, too. Update 5/2024: Dark mode has landed! Unfortunately, the puzzle colors don't invert, so the menus are nice, but solving puzzles is still pretty bright. 🙁 Edited

Please note that inverting the puzzle colors in Dark Mode won't make any difference because about half of the squares are black (or white). So although you will start with a dark screen, as the puzzle is being solved the screen will become bright. Still, if you think there are merits in this approach please tell us at
