When something is FREE, you don't charge for it. At the very least, make it more clear before download that it's a FREE TRIAL. The balogne that you gave another reviewer about some aspects being free to all users was disingenuous. At some point, they'd have to start paying for something they mistakenly thought was free, in order to keep using it. I didn' t find that out until after I downloaded it, and I didn't bother to try it even once. I uninstalled immediately.

Hi Holly, according to Google Play's policy, the trial subscription supposedly will not auto-renew if users have canceled it in time: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481
YouCam Makeup has free and paid content, while some premium features are provided with free times per day for everyone to try.🙋♂️

I used to love this app. But suddenly I have to pay for things that were originally free? I think I've had this app for a year or two now, and I think it's time to uninstall. There were features I had used before (certain lashes) and even though I ended up not picking them at times, when I would change to the next item it NEVER prompted me to pay for it. They suddenly became "premium."

My experience was not the best if im being honest. The features of the app themselves are not bad, but most of the options are locked unless you try the "free trial" This is where things get confusing. There is no cancel subscription anywhere on the app you must go to Google play to do it. Also, once you confirm your cancelation, it says it will be canceled on the day that the yearly subscription will automatically bill. I don't know if I will be charged for 21.99/year,but it feels like a scam.

edit- Jan 2019: love the realistic photo effects. I use this app all the time and it is the best that I've found for beauty editing. my problem with it is that it keeps freezing. I thought that maybe I'd accumulated too many looks in the "my looks" tab, but there's no method to remove them besides one by one. half the time, my looks wouldn't load at all and it'd be trying to load the default "look" until I forcequit. I wish it would open the photo editing function without applying a look.

Limited functionality and choices. In particular, many of the hair styles had no option to change their color, and the fun, punky colors were a completely separate tab and only work on your own hair. They need to find a way to allow all hair styles to be usable with all available hair colors. Also, there were nowhere near enough lipstick options. Edited
