This version stops playing in background, even though the app permissions are set to allow run in background in battery settings. UI is much better. Audio/video option is sweet. No option for offline listening to programs, no way to create play list to allow for continuous listening. Still no notification of when live shows start, would be nice to subscribe to a show to get notifications when a live episode begins. Edited

Great content. But the app stops and requires a reboot every 20 minutes or so. When I'm at work, I have to take out my phone and restart the app, which in my like of work is a real inconvenience. The locals app doesn't have this trouble. :). edit. app is quite a bit better now. I'm able to listen to the podcasts without interruption. comment navigation is awful, but that's a minor issue for me. Edited

3/10/26 - it's been a lot better but now after the last update I can't switch between audio and video and keep the same place. also there's the option to download them but I have no idea how to get it to switch to the actual download, if I turn off mobile data or my Wi-Fi it just stops. if those issues get fixed I see no reason not to update to five stars Edited

The content offered is unmatched. I've been a Ben Shapiro listener and subscriber since 2016, and the development of the Daily Wire has been truly impressive. It filled a major gap in conservative media. The app is stable, functional, and easy to use. Love the background player. The minor issues that were present in the app when it was introduced are resolved. Highly recommend. Edited

UPDATE 2: It broke again, I've re-downloaded the app 2 times now and I can't listen to a podcast without it crashing unless the tab is actively open on my phone with my screen unlocked. PLEASE FIX THIS, I love yall, but PLEASE fix this. 😮💨 Update 3: Whatever yall are doing, keep it up! the app is PERFECT now! Love it! Edited
