I had a great time playing this game, it really took me back to my childhood when I was obsessed with Monkey Island! The graphics are strange and you can't skip the long narrations but you get used to it. Had a blast solving the puzzles and liked that it kept its funny, cheeky lines. You also get some hints if you're stuck, so you don't have to spend nights in a row trying to get through a quest. The ending was a real let down though, it's like they ran out of money and decided to call it a day

I had high hopes for this game. I remember the original that I played on the Amiga back in the 80's and early 90's. Considering technology, graphics and everything else has improved, why is everything about this game seem like a poor excuse!!!

The game is really good, after many many years it was great getting back to Monkey Island! I just have a problem given I had to reinstall my phone OS. I thought save games were saved with the backup Google makes of apps and settings. Nevertheless, upon restoring the phone backup, all my progress is lost 😭 Is there any way to recover it?

Liked the old games...don't know, I was bored with this one after 5 minutes. Touch controls are also too slow and finicky. The constant repetition of dialog is highly annoying. Looks nice and animation seemed smooth, but not an engaging experience. Edited

As a fan of the old monkey Island games, I really loved this one. The puzzles are hard enough to make you think but not completely impossible for anyone used to adventure game logic. Plays well on mobile too, the touch controls are pretty intuitive and the ability to play in small bursts makes it easy to not get frustrated when you're stuck.
