I've tried a lot of Calculator programs and for the simpler tasks beyond simple math, this one is pretty good. Initially the ads were non-intrusive, but they've since become VERY ANNOYING. if I'm in the calculator and need to flip to another screen to get a figure I need, every time I flip back there is a new ad that you have to click on this thin little line at the top to dismiss the ad. Some try to prevent you from exiting. That little line is NOT intuitive & I discovered it by accident.

I've used this app for 5+ years. I use the memory function to keep track of spending. Over the years I've watched the app's ads become more and more intrusive. Now they have added video ads. The Pro version has subscription options or costs $11.99 for permanent Pro, which is a bit extreme for a calculator with barely more functions than the free one that comes with most phones. Edited

Update 11/24/25: So shortly after I made my review complaining about the new pop-up ads every time I opened the free verson, I caved and purchased the full/pro version to stop the ad pop ups...so months have gone by with no issue, now I'm getting pop-ups to purchase a subscription from you? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? FOR WHAT???? I. PAID. ALREADY. Edited

It's been 5 years, I still use this daily. I needed scientific calculations which the built in calculator doesn't do. I don't remember how I got lucky and installed this particular app when there are so many out there but I'm really glad I did. The only thing I could add would be the ability to work with time: hours, minutes and seconds and possibly an additional running total "checkbook" calculator from the drop-down menu that was reset to zero only with difficulty.

So far it's a pretty good calculator. There's a handy note function in the Pro version that allows you to add notes to your calculations in the history. Pro version is 8 bucks a month, or 12 bucks forever. Worth the 12 bucks if you need documentation that can be copied and paste to other note programs. Line items can be deleted from the history instead of clearing the whole history, handy for accidental double entries. If you don't need this, remove adds is just 3 bucks.
