So.. Discord is nice if you're wanting to talk to people and just merely chat , but overall the app on phone is difficult to navigate every now and then and it feels more centered towards PC users. I've struggled to take photos and be able to send them and then half of the time I can't even tell what's what in my photo roll because it will take me to OneDrive. I love Discord but there's a few things I think it could work on, not so many updates are needed for the app on mobile. Edited

this app used to be great. Now it feels like a big push to frustrate you into paying them every month for the features you used to get for free. The limit of the file size you can send is TEN MEGABYTES. that's absurd. the 25 mb limit it used to have was difficult, but now you can barely send a photo. the app has always had COUNTLESS bugs and interferes with other functions like spotify and Bluetooth connection. I put up with it for years but this is the last straw. I can't even send an .m4a now! Edited

Discord was fine before the 2023 UI update, but now it's full of bugs. Here is a list of some that I have been having lately: all the files on my SD card are out of order, the app won't let me edit my profile picture (it either just crashes or uploads the picture without letting me edit it), randomly crashing for no reason, the back button on android closes the full app, and many more. Please fix! Edited

Progressively getting worse for years now. At this point I would genuinely prefer 2017's constant downtime, because at least the app functions. Have an option to turn off compressing images to illegibility. Fix your webhooks and stop breaking them. Actually test your new updates before you release them. No one wants a tutorial on the "new user experience", what we want is for you to stop making the user experience objectively worse in ways that aren't even profitable!

Genuinely gets buggier every update. Randomly no notifications, UI getting sized up or shrunk down to unreadable levels, UI elements you can dismiss- but the element cutout is still there, while losing all functionality. genuinely one of the worst designed apps I've ever used. It also now randomly plays videos/audio messages, while using other apps. the only method to solve this is by closing the app.

Please try reinstalling the app or restarting your device to see if it helps with the UI and notification issues. For more troubleshooting, check here: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/13148417007767
