The app is good. The sound quality is also good. But on the keylimba selection low notes 1,2,3 & 4 are too high pitched they need to be lower tones. Other than that the app is good. Fix those and I will give more stars. 3-16-25 update while trying to make a recording I noticed when I listened to the notes being played on my phone speakers notes 1-4 do have a higher pluck pitch. But when I listen to it through earbuds or headphones the notes sound fine. So no fix needed. Edited

It's cool, nice and small sized, actually it's less than 10mb total on my Android Tablet, not the 30mb it said. I don't like how I can't change Instruments unless I pay. I have two other apps that have 200+ Instruments, with customizable layouts and many more features-all FREE... I also would like to select my own colours. Also, I can't seem to play 3-keys together. It does play 2-keys, but doesn't seem to understand 3-keys, which is most chords.

On a real kalimba, you can play at most 2 keys with one finger - you can do this in Keylimba, or 3+ keys at once, by sliding your finger. Also, Keylimba is focused on app quality, which is why it doesn't come with 200+ instruments! If you don't want to pay to support it, I hope you enjoy the free features, which are almost all of them!

Best $4 I've ever spent. Not a single ad was crammed into my face, and the app itself was fully enjoyable on its own without needing to spend any. The sounds are super high quality and the loop function is fun to play with. Neat little app with a lot of character and charm, fully worth checking out. Only things I'd like to see in the future is a delay function (along with the reverb already included,) and maybe the ability to have more than one loop going at a time :)

Great aside from the fact that you cannot even do what is mandatory in plenty of songs, to play more than one note side-by-side by hitting them with the same thumb, and if you try two notes with both thumbs, aside from the fact some songs call for more than 2 notes played at once, it won't always play at the same time. Other than that, great UI, has a recorder, you can share your recorded sound, nice menu sound (I'm from 89, & I love the retro sound of gaming), multiple instruments, etc. Shalom.

The BEST kalimba app. It's super cute and works wonderfully. Though some things I would like added (even if they are a paid option) would be: 1: the ability to add kalimba tabs so that they show on screen and I can practice that way instead of having to look at them on my computer screen or on paper 2: Change the spacing/size of the tines. With those things added this app would be perfect. Edited
