Cool ideas are on display here. If it weren't for the terrible progression system, matchmaking, rng mechanics and some of the worst balancing I've ever seen in my life, it might even be good. The outcome of games is not determined by skill, but a combination of who had the better starting hand and who drew better cards. The campaign started as a good way to avoid multiplayer, but the levels just ballooned into nightmares of rng. If I could describe the game in one word it would be "irritating". Edited

I love everything pvz and have been playing the original since it was new. That being said, this version sucks. They force you to use certain cards for certain heros, meaning you don't actually get to make your own decks. The illusion of choice is very frustrating. It seems like the only way to get new cards is to grind for a ridiculously long time, or buy them, and its expensive. Now it glitches so bad it restarts my phone and makes a terrible noise. Getting rid of it before it breaks my phone.

This game is a great game! The graphics, cards, boss battles made the game exciting, but I know this game has more potential. Lately I find myself spending less time on the game because of the lack of new things. It will be cool to have daily gifts, and a side quest/mini game in order to get a card/costume change like Homescape's mini games. Having more things to strive for can make the game more interesting. I really want the developers to hear me out, so the game can be really awesome.

Well... it's ok. The presentation, like the other games in the PvZ franchise, is excellent. The gameplay, however, is something else entirely. Older players destroy new players, you can barely make progress in Story mode after some levels, and battles are mostly luck based. Not to mention, the balancing is quite awful, with some cards lowering your health instantly. A tip I recommend to new players is to grind for gems using ads. I got some heroes and legendaries using that. Edited

This game has so many issues, although it is fun. I have been trying for months to get past level 75, which is a boss fight. It is impossible to beat. I have tried to contact EA about this, but there is no way to do such an act. Not only is this level unfair, but so is match making. why should I, a level 4, be paired up against a level 30? There's also a giant pay wall if you want to progress. If you don't spend 100 dollars to get a good deck, you get stuck. Fix these problems and itd be 5 stars Edited
