I'm redacting my negative review for my redacted positive review lol. I've been back playing this again after a few years. Was able to sign into my account and jump back into the game with my old progress and I quickly was reminded of what brought me here in the first place. Game is great. No more connection issues. Only thing that kinda sucks is the lack of other players. Games take awhile to find now. But I've beaten the first campaign on fearless. About to start the second on fearless now. Edited

I am enjoying the game very much thus far. I have made it to The Eye of Ra. As an older (mid-forties) Pokeman fan (card game), I am enjoying the automated card play within the infrastructure of the Collectible Cards parameters. A little expensive if you want to move ahead faster, yet understood it's piece and parcel of the genre. I enjoy the need for changing strategy and several replays from time to time to defeat a boss. I enjoy the creative strategies one can create in a character.

Overall I'm having a great time playing this game. Good load times, no ads that I've experienced, good difficulty levels and a variety of cards for deck building. My one complaint that resulted in a 3 star review instead of 5 is that the multi-player mode doesn't seem to work. I've tried multiple times. It queues it up and even gives me an ETA but then the timer keeps going. It'll say estimated wait time of 2 minutes but then after waiting 10 minutes I just give up.

Fun game, about as anti P2W as you can find. There is no "energy" or similar cap, you can play endless battles if you like. Also, the only items locked behind a paywall are cosmetic. Every functional card/hero in game can be unlocked for free via lots of grinding. A little $ definitely speeds up the process though. Been playing for a month and I love it! Edited

While the game is fun at first, it has a fatal flaw. You seemingly only gain exp for wins. Storyline exp is only given once upon the first victory. I got stuck on a tough fight, the game suggested that I switch Champions, well the new Champion is back at Lvl 1. Exp should be fairly given for wins and loses, because playing and progressing in the game should be more important than did you win or not.. You have a good base, but it needs more to "quality of life"
