Adding to the choir here - this would be hands-down a 5* game if it didn't crash every now and again (usually every 10-15 minutes). While you don't lose a lot of progress, it automatically reloads at the last save and those seem to happen about once a minute or so. It's frustrating and it's easy to lose track of exactly where you are. Fix the crashes and this would be a no-brainer 5* timekiller with no ads and nothing to buy to progress.

Two minor issues, otherwise an exceptional game. First, it crashes fairly frequently on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, losing the last minute or so of progress. Second, it is lacking in instructions and documentation. This makes it a bit difficult to figure out a few aspects of the game. Aside from those two issues, I find Universal Paperclips to be very enjoyable. The gameplay doesn't seem to get stale, even though the game cycle is repetitive as you progress through the universe. Crashes constantly now. Edited

A great game but a mediocre port. The web version is great, this is buggy and frustrating. No idle background mode, no dark mode, crashes often, and most infuriatingly, a major part of the game bugged out for me (the first Honor redeem wasn't actually recognized) so I'd wasted a ton of time and game resources that I couldn't get back. Very frustrating and fairly inexcusable.

this is one of my favorite all-time idle games. I've played it to completion in browser several times. and I was excited to see it on the phone, even if it just means I'll play it one more time. The problem I'm having is the game randomly closes and or crashes at random times. sometimes it'll do it after 5 minutes. sometimes it's after 1 minute. most of the time this happens, the last minute or so of progress is not saved and it's making it impossible to play.

Great on web, and free there, too! I was happy to have such a great, albeit small and simple game with me anywhere without ads and without a connection, but it just crashes so much. 3 times in 15 minutes! I haven't lost any progress, but it's very frustrating to have the game shut off when you're racking up ops with quantum processing or during a crucial stock-market moment. A simple fix to that, + a dark mode, and it'd be 5 stars.
