The game is ok. It'll pass the time. I play solo and on the "moderate" setting. The game seems to regulate the difficulty level, not by making the players better, but by rigging the dice rolls. The higher your difficulty level, the more 7s are rolled against you and the more rolls come up with numbers you don't have. Nothing about skill. All about making realistic dice rolls unlikely. Frustrating. Edited

I play this game all the time. However, it is super frustrating when you can just tell the game is stacked against you. AI players go out of their way to take from you even if you are last. The game obviously knows when you have 7 or more cards and will for sure roll a 7 on your turn to make you discard. One time, I lost nearly 20 cards to robber and monopoly in a span of 3 turns. But overall, it's a decent game, but you are definitely punished for being in the lead.

Violates game rules, in a number of ways. The game for some reason requires me to build before rolling, which is backwards in the standard game. You roll, then you build. That's the risk of 7+ cards. Trading is awkward and seemingly pointless with the AI. In all fairness, I only played this version of the game for about an hour. But, I've played the real game for many years. This is not a good adaptation of the board game. If I could get my $5 bucks back, I would. I'll write it off as theft.

When I read that the AI in this game was "cheating" I figured it was people who didn't know how to play whining. After many many games I think they do have the RNG rigged and the AI teaming up on you to hide how few levels and scenarios they programmed in. Also I was very dissapointed to find out that you have to pay for the app l, then pay again after opening it to buy the levels. Truly a disappointing, buggy, and terrible waste of money.

Do not buy. Game mechanics broken. Played a game with goal of 10 winning points. Opponent won with 7 points (3 villages + longest street + army) claiming he had 3 victory point cards but he bought 6 development cards, 5 of them knights. Not the first time this happened. And I am not even talking about AI... Read the other reviews, they are correct. Would expect more from a game that is 5 dollars. Also be warned that you need to spend another 10 dollars for the full game which includes seafarers and knights expansion. My conclusion is would not buy again and the app damages the good name of the game. Edited
