Firecracker Software has a great app for use with Words With Friends called Wordbreaker. For years it worked seamlessly with my Samsung S4, S6 and S8 Android phones. Now it won't anymore, so Firecracker Software reccomended that I download and install this free HiQ OCR Screenshot. For a long time it worked, but now the screenshots I take with it are not recognized by Word Breaker anymore. Wordbreaker still works with the native screenshot app on my iPhone 7+ but no longer on my S8.

Nope. Still doesn't work. I'm not checking anymore. With the image I want to capture on screen, I bring up the app and click take screen capture. When I look at the image it is of my home screen or sometimes the image is very transparent. It usually does get the image eventually, but I've had to repeat the process up to 10 times. Edited

this records EVERYTHING on your screen once you've activated it and the only way to get it to stop is to restart your phone or uninstall the app. that means if you log in to your bank account they have all of your details. have naughty pictures on your phone? now they have them too. it's function is fine but use it then delete it immediately. response to developer: my phone says otherwise. other screenshot apps dont cause my phone to send the same warning. That's not what the permission does. It allows framebuffer access so the app can take a screenshot at the precise moment you tell it to. It captures a single frame and saves it to a file locally. It does not communicate your data to the outside world, and it is not capturing more than a 60th of a second.

A three star app to me, I find it fun using it as a means of screenshot while on WWF seen my phone screenshot can no longer capture words so clear using my snapcheap, I really don't have a big problem with the app the only issue I have with this app is that most times it goes off continuously just in a little space of time after revisiting the app which is really frustrating leaving word with friends to re-on it and my WWF always refreshes after that. I would like if the developers works on it.

The scshots are very good. However, after each shot the overlay button takes 1-2sec to reappear. Also, when the shutter sound is off one doesn't know if the shot was taken. More options to customize the button would be welcomed.
