The play here is... fun. I'm not a mobile gamer, so some things throw me off, but I'm a classic stronghold PC player, the graphics, the vibe, the MUSIC. Phenomenal here. The combat is wonky and could use some heavy rework, but it is kinda unique to me. I really wanna see where this goes. The game loop feels satisfying, if we could knock out some UI and AI issues, you really could have a pretty unique experience. Please don't give up on this yet.

(edited) pretty annoying that the hammer units can kill an entire group of macemen and then the rewards for killing the king is pratically nothing useful. The requirements to defeat an enemy far outway the rewards, there is no point in defeating the castles for little to nothing. Edited

I loved the PC version and I really wanted this to live up to that expectation. There are some small issues with tapping not working and a general lack of quests which makes progression confusing. The biggest issues that can be fixed by the devs is not having targets to help you progress through the counties and not having enough information about how to upgrade buildings to unlock things like stronger troop types. Overall it has so much potential, but I feel frustrated playing.

awesome mobile creation of stronghold and easy too progress without the need to spend any money which is huge considering 99% of games are pay to win on mobile. one request please remove the option where the tabs minimize when pressing anywhere on the screen and force the player to press the X button on screen alot of times when producing and item your fighting with the tab on screen and instead of starting production it keeps minimizing the tab Edited

A promising start! The game looks to have extensive build and battle options. The graphics are ok but not amazing. Battles often feel sluggish and jerky, like there is a framerate issue. If this is by design, it fails to give the game anything positive. The game will need your time and attention. It is not really casual from first impressions. Looking forward to playing more for now! Rating liable to change!
