cool but needs topographic depth chart so you can see the lake contours. so for me it as is it's not worth the money because I still need a maps app with paid maps. I tried useing this to find a spot to fish but had no way to water depth or contours so it was basically useless unless your also looking at a depth finder with the map up. so if your a shore angler don't bother. if you have a boat and you think this would be nice to plan from your couch think again.

We have been in pursuit of bathymetry data provider for several years now. We would like to provide intelligence on top of the contour map, not just show contours. So far finding a data provider that will license this has been challenging, but it is still one of our highest priorities.

It's a great concept but it is not worth the money. I mainly bought it for water clarity, but it did not update for weeks at all time. It claims that it won't update unless the skies are clear, but this is bs. We've had several days of clear skies and it still doesn't update. I'm going to give the omni app a try

Water clarity is measured using satellite imagery, which can sometimes be obscured by clouds, atmospheric conditions, or surface waves. When conditions aren’t ideal, the app will display the most recent high-quality map available. If you see an older map, it simply reflects the last time we had a clear, accurate view. This app is very misleading. $6.99 a month $79.99 a year. Leading you to believe that you can pay monthly. I am a boat Capt for my 2 grandsons. We had a tournament at a lake that we hadn't fished but one time. So I thought I would try it for a month. No, they charge you for an entire year. So I have used the app, absolutely garbage. Didn't catch any fish in the areas marked best in the app, nor on any of the best lures it suggested. So, I have been stuck with an app for a year.

Hands down the best fishing app! I've tried 7 other apps and they all do something slightly different. Deep Dive does it all with tons of accurate data, suggestions, and even historical and future data for many lakes in every state. I had no clue half of the lakes in Indiana even existed until I went through the list! Now I can learn new patterns on familiar lakes, as well as roll up to new lakes feeling prepared to have a great day on the water.

I am pretty disappointed. Most of the important features of the app like lake level, best area, water clarity and others are not available on most of the important bodies of water in California. On a positive note the app does do weather and wind well. If you're not going to have all the features you advertise then you shouldn't charge people full price. I won't be getting another yearly when my subscription ends and I'm probably going to look into a refund if possible.
