This keyboard brought a fun, new experience to me. The layout does take some time getting used to. But i find myself staying sharper because of it. I love the accuracy, love the fact that i can use tondo on larger screens thank to the support for tablets and foldable phones. My only gripe is; the autocorrect isn't as accurate as it can be. That aside; tondo is a solid go to for foldables and tablets. Just wish we had more themes to play with, or at least a color picker

Thank you so much for the review! Autocorrection is quite difficult to improve given the small scale of this project, but I'm not excluding we are going to try :) And for what concerns color customization: is now probably the most requested feature!

Admittedly, I don't see myself using it in portrait much, but it has some advantages in landscape mode, IF you can get comfortable enough with the layout. The problem is, some other keyboards handle landscape mode in a similar way, but without the learning curve this has. I also use the emoji search on gboard a lot, so not having that makes it a little less appealing for me to use. For those don't need that though, try it. Especially if you're a gamer. It feels like a gamepad. Edited

The software is amazing, it feels pretty snapy, tactile, and i really like it being more modern than messagease because it can make use of more display room. You can feel the love poured on it. But. I do not agree with developers in the monetary side of things. Being it an experimental tool, puting customization of layouts behind a paywall is gonna cut it's wings. Many people could improve layouts to get nearer an easier way of writting, paywalling it just will make it more forgetable bcs of qwe

Thank you so much! We liked the idea of letting the keyboard as standard as possible without prevent pro user to change it as they want... We just wanted to discourage wild customization a little bit. Anyhow, the project is completely open source, so you don't really have to pay for the pro version if you don't feel like it :)

Just keep coming back to it. It's a bit tiring sometimes and I make random mistakes but somehow it actually "gels" together and I like it. But please, add themes (Material You-aware coloring would be fantastic too) and maybe allow use of the system font with fallback to the keyboard's one for missing glyphs? Same with the emoji. It's relatively solid, but feels a bit beta-ish/doesn't mesh that well with the rest of the Android UI to me because of those things. That aside, no bugs on my end.

Thank you so much! I agree with you for what concerns the fact that tOndO UI doesn't blend that much with the rest of the system, but this is caused by the framework we decided to develop it. "Material You" implementation and system fonts and emojis usage are already on our to-do list, but we will need a big rework in order to achieve them.

very nice , I whould just let us pick the colors and font thanks for the reply , its unfortune that picking our own fonts is not viable , or google fonts even , i really like comfortaa After setting up my preferred layout i really wished i could also switch the diacriticizers location and also make the backspace a possible key , i'm used to swipe left to delete and swipe right to space , from typewise Edited

Thank you so much for your review! We were already thinking to let users customize colors, but customizing fonts (given the framework the project was made with) would be a little bit more tricky. For what concerns the backspace: swiping left from the backspace button already deletes an entire word :)
