I use the app primarily for reading the enewspaper. Every day it has some kind of issue. Frequently it goes to the wrong article when I tap one on a page to read. I like to read the USA today extra section (the one with the 50 states news). It no longer opens on page one and today it's a repeat of a section included in the dnj portion. I'm getting real close to cancelling.

I got it so that I could get notifications of things happening in the area (such as gas leaks, etc). More and more now it pops up with stuff that I don't care about that is just drama and not really news and even if I click to open the article up I'm immediately hit by a pay wall on things that are important. I'm uninstalling it now and going with a broader area news app because at least they don't lock out articles. I suggest going for ads if you need the money like everyone else.

DNJ is 99% focused on local sports which can be extremely annoying if you're just looking for the actual news. It's a shame that I have to dig through Facebook to find out what's happening around town because the writers of DNJ only care about high school football. The Murfreesboro Post and WGNS are much better sources for local news.
