This app is insanely helpful. I enjoy writing, so what I use it for is recording thoughts and story ideas as I go through my busy day. I love how easy it is to select all of the text and copy it to a separate file for later editing, and that it has an offline mode. My only wish is that I could use it with my phone screen off and/or in the background, so that when another app opens and I don't realize it the recording won't stop. My battery would appreciate it, too.

I think the concept is good, but the execution is lacking. I tried saying a number of words in my target language, knowing how they were spelled and the results were mixed. If I pronounced the words carefully, it came back with the correct result. If I pronounced the word more like a native speaker, then the results were not an actual word but a literal spelling of how I had pronounced it. I can see having it as another tool in my toolbox, but can't rely on it for things I'm still learning.

It became very annoying having your icon waiting on my desktop and opening at the lightest touch. I find it interferes as it rides on top of the other aps and opens when working on another program. And then you have to stop what you are doing to close it down. It is a good voice recorder otherwise. I was disappointed I could not use the transcript and save it as a Word document. It would then serve me as a writer. I hoped it would be a transcriber, from speech to document.

anyone else having issues where the app works for a good while then suddenly it stops transcribing and says "try again later" ?? I am using it to transcribe live streams in other languages and it works just fine and is pretty accurate, but then suddenly it will stop working and won't work again until later on in the day. Anyone else having this issue? but I still love the app because when it is working it works perfectly. And it is like 90% accurate. I am able to transcribe their words.

It deserves a much higher rating. 1. The microphone sensitivity is excellent. It picked up the birds singing outside my window. 2. No annoying stop & start like other apps 3. Continuous recording without pausing Excellent. The accuracy for transcribing words is not as high as the app I use on my tablet. I downloaded it in a pinch. 5. Although, I'm not used to the transcribe a line a time with hard return. I would find it useful for a lecture. Edited
