I really like this app. I find it to be accurate and extremely useful when planning bike rides. However, the color for cloud cover is too similar to the color for precipitation and it's difficult to tell the difference. I am much more concerned with getting caught in the rain than it being cloudy! ------------------------------------------------------ Update after the developer responded to my review... I did not know I could change the colors. That's fantastic! Thank you! 5 stars. Edited

Worth the subscription, but it's better for urban areas where there are a lot of weather stations. It would be nice to have some sense of how far away the forecast was from--on one big ride it said the high would be 85, actual was 105, because the nearest station was very far from where the ride was. Still gets 5 stars because most of the time it's awesome.

The app gives useful information about the weather for cycling. But with the Garmin connect setup, it pulled in my previous rides - not my courses (saved routes) like I expected. So, I can't figure out how to get a forecast for a ride that I haven't done before, such as in a new area (we travel a lot). Am I missing something? Edit thanks for the explanation. After I wrote the original review, I checked Ride with GPS and saw that worked. Edited

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately Garmin doesn't make routes available to any other apps. Feel free to reach out to them with a feature request! An alternative is export them as a GPX file or do your planning in another app like Strava, Ride With GPS or Komoot, all of which offer great planning tools that also show up in Epic Ride Weather.

Great support, after i had an issue with phone, was helped resolve it even though it had nothing to do with the app. in general great app to figure out weather and more importantly tail winds for me. One suggestion would be, if it is possible, to have an alert of tail winds on your favourite segments :) Maybe also to choose your min wind speed to get alerted

Thanks Karlo! We don't have alerts, yet, but did you know that you can sort your favorite segments by tailwind? https://www.epicrideweather.com/2018/02/03/strava-segments-by-tailwind/

Great application. 26th September 2021 With latest update on Android touching on the arrows for wind no longer show speed, also the app doesn't remain in memory, as in have to re-do the whole process to check weather. 27th September 2021 Hi David, all good updated this morning with the new release all back to normal now. Can touch arrows and get readings and it stays in memory unless I decide to exit out of it or close it off, perfect. Edited
