Fun game except they have a ton of ads that never end. You have to exit the app to get out of it or download the game advertised. I paid the 1.99 to get rid of pop up ads but the optional ones for prizes are where the issue is. I stopped trying to get them because of it. Seems a little skeevy, like this was intentional to make you keep watching ads to get to the prize. Equates to false advertising. Edited

If I am being completely honest; I would like to give it a two and a half star rating. the gameplay is fun and nostalgic, and I like the overall game. but they have this thing EVERY single time you play that offers to get rid of ads and says i hate ads (normal) but instead of just having to click no thanks you HAVE to click something that says I LOVE ADS and watch one. Minor inconveniences are major.

Lately, Ive been on a quest to rediscover all the old games me and my siblings would play as kids for nastolgia. I came to open up Fruit Ninja only to realize it's not the same structure as it once was. They do, of course, have Fruit Ninja Classic, which was exactly the game I was looking for. Only one problem: you have to pay for it. If I have to either pay for a better game or play a good but not as good game for free, I guess I'm choosing those one, but I shouldn't have to. Its an okay game.

Hey Rylan, thanks for the review! It's a great idea to revisit old games so we're sorry to hear Fruit Ninja wasn't as fun for you. We're always looking to grow and keep this version of the game fun, so we'll keep this in mind as we release more updates and events. Regardless, enjoy rediscovering as many games as you can 😄

not what it used to be. the original release of the game was entirely free with one micro transaction for getting rid of ads. now it's another micro transaction and advertisement ridden hellscape. it's still the same loveable gameplay and passtime but turning the game into a difficult but money boosted grind for cosmetics just degrades my experience overall

Overall, as someone who is not a gamer I like this game a lot. It's not really difficult ( which is great ) and arcade mode is the best. I don't like classic mode but to each their own. One issue: I did recently get a blade I didn't want. Then today it got upgraded even though I chose "skip" when it was shown as an item in the red gift box. Now, I can't get rid of it. Unless I'm missing something shouldn't I have not gotten this blade upgrade when I told the game to skip? Edited
