Perfect if you don't want to use the character cards, since it keeps up with the stats, and it also helps out with info on cards and special actions on the haunt and item and omen cards. It also helps that it has different languages. This can help out with players who don't know the language that comes in your copy of the game

Everything is so user-friendly compared to some of the older apps made for this game. Great looks with plenty of details, combined with a nice background noise. Also love that they updated very quickly with the expansion pack content. The only issue I have currently with the app is that the expansion character can only be selected in the app when using one of the expansion haunts: she should be selectable regardless of which haunt card is used, but she should only change in the new haunts.

I wish this supported the old versions as well. Still a great app. I like the betrayal companion app as well. It has tips for haunts and a simple interface but doesn't support widows walk or the 3rd edition. This one only supports 3rd edition. Wish they could merge.

So it's not really what I expected. I expected this to be the actual game, but it's just the characters & cards, but without the board. It could still be very useful if you have a hard time keeping track of cards/ keeping track of the little character stats thing. Otherwise, this doesn't seem like it would have a whole lot offer, as it only has a few of the haunts. Could still be very useful though!

Love that Hasbro made an official app for the new 3rd edition characters. Unfortunately the app doesn't work all the time apparently. The app sometimes opens with blank buttons. Reloading the app seems to solve the bug. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Edited
