App displayed stale data upon login. I paid my insurance bill on time 2 weeks ago (by phone, because my credit card number changed and I did not see in app where to update it). Today the app said my policy was Canceled, my card number was the old number, and my last Payment was a year ago. I was distraught. A few minutes later, the app silently updated & displayed all 3 correctly. Beware.

Don't go with Hippo. Intro rate is good but then they increase your rates. I canceled my policy and 31 days later I am still waiting for a refund. They say if I don't have it by 5/3/23 then to call them. Their reson for the delay is mailing times. No way it takes that long! They are holding my money for additional interest accrued. When I ask if they would take that explanation from their customers they got rude. I'm glad I am no longer a customer.

Stay away they write your policy wrong, they approve after inspection and then send me a link for a video inspection inside and out which was not necessary and then canceled my policy after 2 years and advance payments.. now they sold my number to Telemarketing and given them personal information when trying to call them on several different number they have listed my call doesn't go through I believe they blocked my number from their system the thing is I was in the hospital for 3 months

My policy got cancelled due to them billing me instead of my mortgage lender, I called to resolve the issue and get told either I can pay 260 right now while they wait for a check from my lender, or start a new policy and pay the same. I have never paid my insurance from my account. Always through escrow. Not sure why they changed it without my authorization.
