Wow, completely plug-and-play with my generic USB endoscope, no bloat, minimal permissions, totally functional, and free! If I could suggest one feature it would be some haptics or feedback on the capture buttons, it's hard to tell if you're capturing a photo or not

Works well, and is better and more stable than other USB camera apps I've seen in the Store. But it has a very annoying habit (and yes, I'm docking 2 stars just for this) - it doesn't save your settings and shows you an ad for changing them back - EVERY time you run the app! I mean dude, I get that you have to show an ad to run your app, but this isn't the way to do it. Edited

It was a design choice. I had the choice of ALWAYS showing an ad, which I personally find annoying or just seeing it when you change resolutions or record a video. The pro version of the app does save your settings and does not show ads ever.

Works fine, but only if the Audio Permission is allowed. To me, that's kinda sketchy. Only need it for a cheep snake cam off Amazon. I understand most cams also record audio, but that shouldn't mean the app won't work at all without the permission. Edit: Based on what the app creator stated in reply. 4/5 stars. Does what I needed with minimal permissions and no fluff. Just a quirk of android permissions. Edited

Unfortunately, that's an Android requirement and there is nothing I can do about it. Android isn't smart enough to tell cameras that can record audio and can not, so it requires the app to ask for the permission regardless. In their defense, once I get USB permission Android would not be able to enforce audio permissions.

Best use camera viewer there is out there, I have a crazy amount of different esb cameras from hand held microscope, endoscopes , usb/wifi microscopes to use magnifying glasses, it works with most if not all, and has easy to UI. I early rate apps so for me to do so says it all.

Great for a free app. Pleasantly surprised. Occasional refresh glitches. Ads do pop up when changing settings as others have mentioned. Settings default back to a lower resolution upon exit and restarted or reconnected. The biggest caveat for me is having to disconnect in order to review the video recorded on the camera. Won't play on connected phone, and camera display is always blacked out while connected. But, what do you want for nothing? None of it is a deal breaker for a free app.
