I've had Wyze cameras for years & I used to recommend them to everyone. I do not anymore because the quality has gone down so much. The cameras constantly disconnect, events don't register (even though the camera moves with the movement, but still doesn't register as an event), &one has started clicking at night when it never did before (turning off night vision solved it). I hate the idea of going to another company when I've invested so much in so many cameras, but Wyze is unreliable now. Edited

I am experiencing several problems with the camera. The detection zones and default starting position are randomly changing, and the camera itself intermittently stops functioning. When I attempt to reposition the camera, it repeatedly resists and reverts to its previous location. Customer support has been difficult to contact and their responses are unhelpful. During a recent chat session, the representative stated that they would send an email if the connection was lost, which they did not.

Definitely not what it once was. We have had Wyze for years. Recently, I have to completly factory reset multiple cameras to get them to come back online. It is time-consuming and frustrating, to say the least. Not sure what changed or if it is to cause customers to buy new cameras/ purchase an upgrade/ package. Disappointed, and have to spend time and money on a new camera system. I do not recommend.

OMG latest update is SOOOO frustrating, constantly disconnecting, constantly missing people and events, I'm so frustrated I can barely take it every time I try to open my camera it says it can't connect again. it has perfect Wi-Fi connection freezes and then shuts down get it together wyze you're supposed to be better than the cheap Chinese competitors

Do not buy for the subscription, ONLY THE HARDWARE. The hardware is amazing and works flawlessly. Tiny, small and super easy to set up anywhere at an extremely affordable price. No scription required. None. There absolutely is NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED. However, if you choose to purchase a subscription... You absolutely will not like this ecosystem. REMEMBER THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED and you will like your purchase. Therefore, I can only give 4 stars.
